The service

The toolbox is provided free for educational use, as is. It is a set of client-side tools with no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose — sanity-check any split before it goes on the wall, and keep your own class records; the saved lists are a convenience, not a system of record.

Acceptable use

Use the tools freely with real classes. Don't attempt to disrupt the service or scrape it at abusive scale. You're responsible for the names and content you paste into the tools — keep student data on trusted devices, per the privacy page.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and artwork are the property of its builder. Random grouping is a folk method that belongs to no one; the expression here is original.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the site. If any term here conflicts with an explicit written agreement with the operator, the agreement wins. These terms may be updated occasionally; the review date at the bottom shows the current version, and material changes are announced on this page rather than retroactively.
